OpenwatersLouisiana.com is a partnership of the Crescent River Port Pilots and the New Orleans Baton Rouge Steamship Pilots. The first navigates the middle 106 miles of the river. The second moves and shifts vessels between New Orleans and Baton Rouge.

Together, we have created this website to make it easier for people of all walks of life to navigate their futures in the career of their choice on the river. We’re setting a new course to diversify the maritime industry. We’re casting a wide net to ensure that our stakeholders have the resources they need to educate the community on the many job opportunities available.
